Affidea Atenea L'Eliana is a diagnostic imaging centre integrated in the Affidea network, one of the largest diagnostic imaging groups in Europe. Located in L'Eliana, in the northern metropolitan area of Valencia, the centre offers MRI, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and digital radiology to patients from the Llíria corridor and northern Valencia metropolitan communities.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Affidea Atenea L'Eliana's MRI equipment performs high diagnostic quality studies: spinal and joint MRI, brain and cranial MRI, abdominal and pelvic MRI, MR angiography and contrast-enhanced breast studies. High-field equipment (1.5T and 3T) provides high-resolution images with reduced examination times.
CT and radiology
Multi-slice computed tomography (CT) is available for whole-body studies, CT angiography, thoracic CT (including lung cancer screening) and emergency studies referred from local clinics. Conventional digital radiology covers basic diagnostic needs: chest, extremity, spinal and osteoarticular X-rays.
Ultrasound and mammography
General, gynaecological, breast, musculoskeletal and thyroid ultrasound is performed with high-frequency equipment guaranteeing optimal resolution. Digital mammography with tomosynthesis is available for both screening and diagnosis of clinically detected breast lesions.
