Guang An Men is an acupuncture and Chinese medicine centre in Valencia, with a name inspired by the famous traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Beijing. The centre offers clinical acupuncture, moxibustion, tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage) and Chinese phytotherapy treatments, applied by professionals with accredited training in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and integration of Western medicine knowledge.
Clinical acupuncture
Acupuncture is the centre's main technique. Guang An Men applies acupuncture both in its traditional form (pulse and tongue diagnosis, meridian-based points) and in integrative acupuncture and dry needling for musculoskeletal pain treatment (trigger points). The most frequent indications are lower back and cervical pain, migraine and tension headache, irritable bowel syndrome, insomnia, anxiety and support in oncological treatments.
Moxibustion and complementary therapies
Moxibustion (heat on acupuncture points), tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), cupping and auriculopuncture complement acupuncture treatments at the centre. These therapies are used alone or combined with acupuncture depending on the diagnosis and patient condition.
Chinese phytotherapy
Chinese phytotherapy uses formulas of Chinese medicinal plants (in decoction or capsules) to reinforce the effect of acupuncture and address chronic conditions in a comprehensive manner. Phytotherapy prescription is carried out individually, with follow-up and formula adjustment according to the patient's progress.
