IVANE Salud, also known as Clínica Zafra, is a centre specialising in psychiatry, mental health and addiction treatment in Valencia. Located on Calle d'Eduard Boscà 23, in the L'Olivereta neighbourhood, it is one of the Valencian Community's reference private mental health centres, with an approach integrating psychiatry, clinical psychology and social work within a biopsychosocial care model.
Psychiatry and mental health
IVANE Salud's psychiatry unit treats the main mental disorders:
- Affective disorders: major depression, bipolar disorder, dysthymia.
- Anxiety disorders: panic disorder, OCD, social phobia, GAD.
- Psychosis and schizophrenia: diagnosis, treatment initiation and stabilisation.
- Eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder.
- Adult ADHD: neuropsychological diagnosis and pharmacological and psychological treatment.
Addiction unit
The addiction unit is one of the centre's most recognised. It treats dependence on alcohol, other drugs (cocaine, cannabis, opioids) and behavioural addictions (gambling, internet, sex). The programme combines supervised medical detoxification, pharmacological maintenance treatment and individual and group psychotherapy, with long-term follow-up to prevent relapse.
